Bringing Jakarta’s Most Sought-After Buffet Experience to East Nusa Tenggara
Kupang, Indonesia , Beginning 4 July 2026, Sotis Hotel Kupang will officially launch its highly anticipated Japanese Brunch, introducing a dining experience that has already become one of the most successful culinary concepts within the Sotis Hotel portfolio.
Originally introduced at Sotis Hotel Kemang, Jakarta, the Japanese Brunch quickly gained a loyal following, consistently reaching full reservations and establishing itself as one of the city’s favorite weekend dining destinations. Now, the same concept arrives in Kupang, enhanced with local inspiration and the region’s exceptional seafood.
To ensure the experience meets the same standards as its Jakarta counterpart, Executive Japanese Chef Nino has flown to Kupang to personally oversee the preparation, menu development, ingredient selection, and culinary execution ahead of the opening.
With more than 15 years of experience specializing in Japanese cuisine, Chef Nino presents an extensive buffet featuring handcrafted sushi, premium nigiri, freshly sliced sashimi, Japanese hot dishes, and seasonal specialties prepared with authentic techniques and carefully selected ingredients.
Exclusive to Kupang, the brunch introduces a signature Local Fish Sashimi Corner, celebrating the abundance of fresh seafood harvested from the waters of East Nusa Tenggara.
“Kupang is one of Indonesia’s remarkable seafood regions,” said Executive Japanese Chef Nino. “The quality and freshness of the local fish immediately stood out to us. We believe these ingredients will create an entirely new experience at our sashimi corner, allowing guests to enjoy authentic Japanese craftsmanship paired with the exceptional flavors that only Kupang can offer.”
Beyond bringing authentic Japanese cuisine to the city, Sotis Hotel Kupang aims to make premium dining accessible to a wider audience.
“We are excited to introduce an authentic Japanese brunch experience with the same high standards that have made it successful in Jakarta,” said Sari, General Manager of Sotis Hotel Kupang. “Our goal is to make quality Japanese cuisine something everyone in Kupang can enjoy. At just IDR 200,000 nett per person, we believe this brunch offers exceptional value while delivering an experience usually found only in larger metropolitan cities.”
